Brett Favre Career Highlights
Brett Lorenzo Favre was born on October 10th, 1969 in Gulfport, Mississippi. He spent his youth in the small town of Kiln, Mississippi where he acquired his nickname “Country”. In 1991, Brett was drafted in the second round by the Atlanta Falcons and played only two regular season games for the team. In 1992, the Green Bay Packers acquired Brett in exchange for a first-round draft choice. Taking over for injured Don Majkowski during the third game of the season, Brett led the Packers to a thrilling come-from-behind victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. After leading the Packers to triumph in Super Bowl XXXI, Brett returned the “Title” to “Title Town” for the first time since Super Bowl II, twenty-nine years earlier. He is considered among the elite of NFL quarterbacks and is the only three–time MVP (1995–97) in NFL history.
